i don't modify my work at all. That is a photo straight up.
I took a number of pictures at the pier on Marthas Vineyard, where the sea air causes some beautiful rust. This was the base of some pedistal for something, and it just struck me as beautiful.
Its all natural.
Beauty in the decay of the metal.
Beauty in the design, the wrought iron. Beauty in the decay caused to the earth by man. And beauty in the decay caused by the earth to that caused by man.
